Cheilitis
The cheilitis is a swelling of the lips that dryness and appearance of vertical cracks, which may turn out to be very painful. Dryness may also cause burning sensation. Among the causes of cheilitis, exposure to sun or cold is among the main ones. It can also be caused by allergy or intolerance to cosmetics, in this case, the lipsticks.
Herpes labialis
A lesion of lips that can be very painful and it is characterized by the eruption of small blisters that, after breaking, form crusts. This disorder is caused by herpes simplex virus.
It can be very contagious (through the saliva). Among the causes that provoke it the most common are the episodes of stress, low defenses, hormonal changes or exposure to extreme temperatures (hot or cold).
Lichen planus
The Lichen planus is a disease that affects the skin and in the case of the lips, it is more common that is lower which affected by inflammation and appearance of small purple or red plates and which may cause much itching.
Papilloma
Caused by the papilloma virus is an inflammation that leads to the formation of papules or skin lesions that do not disappear by themselves, and if untreated, proliferate endlessly.
Syphilis

Oral Allergy Syndrome
Oral allergy syndrome (known by its acronym ODS) can cause symptoms that appear on the lips of the mouth, such as itching, burning and swelling by taking food. Oral allergy syndrome is a reaction that occurs in the mouth and throat.
Cold sores
It is painful lesions (the common form of canker sores) that may take time to heal between one and two weeks, although care must be taken with recurrent outbreaks. White or yellowish color, it can be very annoying.
Lip Cancer
