Lemon Juice: Lemon is rich in vitamin C, a flavonoid that protects the health of capillaries and prevent, for example, dry eyes. It also adds lutein, a pigment to act as a sunscreen and improves the treatment of glaucoma. Try seasoning your dishes with a combination of lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and parsley.
Blueberries: Blueberries help prevent macular degeneration, thanks to its contribution in anthocyanins, a pigment involved in the repair of retinal cells and improving blood flow. It can substitute by purple plums.
