The nickel is present in items of jewelry, for example, watches, earrings, but may also be present in other such as belts, buttons or zippers. Not always appear at first contact, but over time it can cause allergic skin reactions to contact with nickel.

Some medicines for the skin, such as antibiotic creams, may include in its composition so-called neomycin, which may be causing allergies. The most common symptoms are irritation and appearance of hives in the area where we have applied the cream. It is advisable to consult a doctor.
